Dies

To match the punches, Fette Compacting also offers dies for the international EU and TSM standards, including outer diameters of 22mm, 24mm, 30mm, 16mm and 38.1 mm. For special customer requirements Fette Compacting also manufactures special dies, for instance for older tableting machines or special applications.

Dies can be made from different materials to suit various applications. From high-alloy tool steels to carbides and ceramic, any type is possible. With gas nitriding or a TIN coating the hardness of the dies can be increased even further which is ideal for the pressing of abrasive products.
