Experts and drug manufacturers from all around the world met at Focus Pharma 2015

Schwarzenbek, 5th October 2010 – On 4th and 5th October, Fette Compacting GmbH welcomed guests from all around the world to the international symposium Focus Pharma 2015. At the Innovation Center in Schwarzenbek representatives from industry and science discussed the challenges and the trends likely to affect the pharmaceutical industry in the future. Famous international drug manufacturers were included amongst the guests.
As an internationally active market leader for tablet presses in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries, Fette Compacting GmbH thinks of itself as a partner to drug manufacturers, and wants to tackle the challenges in the global pharmaceutical market together with its customers. The company therefore took the forthcoming changes in the pharmaceutical industry as an incentive to organize an international symposium.

Need for innovative solutions in the Emerging Markets

On the 4th and 5th of October, top experts from industry and science considered the goals of pharmaceutical production, the significance of OEE performance, green efficiency and compliance versus costs. One of the most important topics turned out to be the future role of the Pharmerging Markets China and India. "We have just installed the fastest tablet presses, with which up to 1.3 million tablets can be produced every hour, at two leading generic manufacturers in India. This illustrates that the need for innovative solutions is there in the Emerging Markets, and that it will pay us to rise to the challenges that are developing there" explained Olaf J. Müller, General Manager of Fette Compacting GmbH.

Aside from the papers, visitors were able to see the impressive performance of the latest technological development, the new Pmax turret with their own eyes.
