Wireless Terminal
The safety of the operators of Fette Compacting products has a high priority. Autonomous, wireless operation of the press from outside the production room is a key requirement for products that are toxic and hazardous to the operator. The safety-tested WLAN connection ensures continuous communication with the press.
Optional logging, either directly as a PDF document or stored, for instance, via a USB connection onto a CD or Compact Flash card, provides further facilities for simple data transfer. Paperless, contamination-free documentation is ensured.
The Wireless Terminal already incorporates Windows XP Embedded, so offering an advanced safety scheme together with maximum compatibility.
PL Terminal
Paperless documentation is a valuable improvement, particularly in pharmaceutical production. The terminal is connected to the printer being used over Ethernet; alternatively the data may be transported via a USB port or on a CD or Compact Flash card. The Windows XP Embedded operating system is also provided on Compact Flash, and a hard disc can therefore be omitted. Power is supplied by means of an integrated battery and charging unit and it is therefore not necessary to use a power cable.
The terminal can easily be upgraded to wireless technology.
Terminal with printer
This terminal is the standard version delivered with Fette Compacting tablet machines. It uses the familiar Windows NT interface, and its height is adjustable under electronic control for ergonomic use. Like the other variations of the Fette Compacting terminal, it features a 15" touch-screen and an intuitive operating interface. Facilities for sending diagnostic messages by e-mail or SMS are also integrated. A printer is included in the standard terminal, located under a transparent cover. Operating data is printed promptly under the supervision of the operator.
Rital Terminal
Fette Compacting has developed a specially modified terminal for the 102i galenic press. It features the proven, user-friendly interface. Fitted with a powerful Industry PC, a 15" touch-screen and with Windows XP Embedded, the terminal has the performance that prepares it for the future. A UPS is integrated so that the PC can be securely shut down without losing data in the event of a power failure.
